Recall Summary
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear) is recalling certain Cooper Discoverer SRX tires, size 255/50R20. The Tire Identification Number (TIN) is incorrect, which can prevent owners from properly registering the tires. As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Number 574, "Tire Identification & Recordkeeping."
The issue:
Without registration information, owners may not receive a recall notice, prolonging use of a recalled tire and increasing the risk of a crash.
How to resolve this:
Dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are scheduled to be mailed February 16, 2026. Owners may contact Goodyear Customer Service at 800-321-2136.
