Recall Summary
Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Blue Arc BA4L-800 vehicles. The mounting fasteners may loosen or detach, causing the steering gearbox to bind.
The issue:
Binding in the gearbox can cause a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.
How to resolve this:
Shyft will replace the steering gearbox mounting bolts and washers, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 23, 2026. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft's number for this recall is 26-01.
